Unspeakeasy in New York City: A Small Gathering for Big Ideas (Coed)

$2,500.00

Two days of off-the-record conversations with your favorite independent thinkers in which we ask:

  • Does masculinity matter?

  • Is a city only as good as its policing?

  • Does the mental health field need mental help?

  • How will history look back on the gender movement?

  • Should art care about our feelings?

This coed event will have the same lively discussions and eclectic participants you’ve come to expect from Unspeakeasy retreats. But it will have multiple speakers, more attendees, and more opportunities to meet and interact with your favorite independent thinkers as guest speakers. Held in a private venue in New York City, attendees will challenge their thinking, meet their intellectual heroes, and make new friends.

WHEN: Oct 11 – Oct 12, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.

GUEST SPEAKERS: John McWhorter, Carole Hooven, Mike Pesca, Peter Moskos, Alana Newhouse, Lisa Selin Davis, Ben Appel, Andrew Hartz & Meghan Daum.

The Unspeakeasy is a community for free-thinking women who crave honest conversations about subjects that don’t come with easy solutions. Designed in the spirit of a Prohibition-era speakeasy, it's an underground world full of intellectual curiosity, good-faith debate and real humor.
